Education - High School: Washington Senior High School (1986), Cedar Rapids, IA. College: University of Florida (BS, Natural Resource Management - 1991), Gainesville, FL.

Volleyball Experience - played four years in high school as a setter and outside hitter (All-Metro Team 1986, All-State Team 1986, USAV Cornbelt Juniors, Mid-America All Stars 1986). Played four years in college as an outside hitter and one year with Power Angle as an outside hitter (2nd place Women's Open Division/USAV Nationals 1996).

Coaching Experience - Adult Volleyball Instructor, Santa Fe Community College, Gainesville, FL (2 years); Assistant Volleyball Coach, Lake City High School, Lake City, FL (2 years); Assistant Volleyball Coach, Liberal High School, Liberal, MO (2 years); and Assistant Volleyball Coach, Skyline High School, Urbana, MO (4 years).

Current Employer - 14 years with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of State Parks. Serves as Superintendent, Pomme de Terre and Ha Ha Tonka State Parks. Skyline High School Volleyball Coach, Urbana, MO (4 years).

Laura is IMPACT and CAP I certified. This is her third year to coach for Club Bear. She previously coached 12s and 16s teams.
